Week 4-6
Good morning everyone! I trust you had a relaxing long weekend! I was able to meet my twin grandkiddos, Oliver and Bazil, over the weekend, so that was something for me to be grateful for. They are both home after a couple months in the NICU, which was a long slog for my daughter and her husband.
To recap the last couple of weeks, thank you for your participation on October 2 in our tour of the Pacific School for Innovation and Inquiry (and a S/O to Monta for hosting me on Zoom.) Please make sure that the visit shows up in your blog reflections as we progress through the course.
Also, thank you for your attentiveness and questions during Jesse Miller’s presentation last week (Oct 9.) Jesse normally teaches EDCI 338, and if you liked his presentation, that can be a good course if you have room for it in your program. Again, make sure your key take-aways show up in your weekly reflections on your blog.
Things to do this week (before our next class meeting)
-
- We will talk about:
- any questions or concerns you have related to the class,
- your plans for Assignment 2, so please come prepared to give me an overview of your topic, why it is of interest, and any initial thoughts or findings.
- Please use my booking link published on the Social Spaces page of the course website and feel free to book more than one slot in a row if you think you’ll need it.
Next Meeting
Friday, October 16, 8:30 AM at the normal Zoom link.
Please be ready for working with your learning pods. You aren’t required to, but you may want to consider meeting physically with your pod to join the meeting. We will be creating and sharing media.
