I am doing some research about what kind of wildlife there is in Taiwan.

Here are some Taiwan animals that I think are cool.

Asian Emerald Dove:

Formosan Rock Macaque:

Taiwan Japalure:

Taiwan Red and White Giant Flying Squirrel:

Malayan Night Heron:

Taiwan Serow:

Formosan Black Bear:

I have learned that “Formosa” is an old European name for the Island of Taiwan. That’s why a couple of the animals above are “Formosan.”
