I am so sorry things did not work out as planned to take our trip out to Finnerty Gardens this week. It is one of those typical Victoria Spring days, with a ‘little bit of everything’ weather! As I look outside now, the sun is breaking through, nuts!

A small group of us did go into the gardens and had a good adventure in the light rain. Check in with your peers for a review. Thanks to those that braved the rain and came with me to pick up the QR codes.

I hope you enjoyed this experience and perhaps developed some ideas for how you might use technology before, during, and after an outdoor/field experience.

  • Continue with your weekly WordPress class reflection as well as your free inquiry project update.
    • By now, you should have completed:
      • 7 of your weekly reflection posts towards 8 total by end or term
      • 8 of your free inquiry posts towards 10 total by end or term
  • Prepare to wrap up your educational technology group project. Let me know if I can help at any time.
    • When your group has completed you can share the project on one (or all) of your groups members WordPress sites, or send to me directly if you prefer not too share widely.
  • Prepare to share a little about your project during next weeks’ class. We will not show the entire audio/video project, but you can show a slice if you wish. The idea is to share what you did, why you captured it the way you did (audio, video, presentation, podcast, etc.), and entice your peers to access your project on their own time, if sharing.
  • Book your final meeting with me to be completed before April 4. The link to book will be in Mattermost.
