Hi all, great work this week sharing your group projects. I enjoyed hearing about all of the research you have been doing, the creative ways you have presented your work, and the learnings therein. What a diverse array of interesting projects.
I strongly encourage you to share your completed projects with one another. You can do so by posting the project on your WordPress site, and/or posting the link to our Mattermost channel. At the very least, I will need you to share your project work with me directly. It is very helpful to have all of the group project links in our Pods and Pairs document. I will share that with you on Mattermost.
Please do not delay in booking your final assessment meeting with me. The link to book using Calendly is in Mattermost as well. These should be complete by April 4 and can be conducted online. If you can not find a time that works, please message me directly and I will make myself available beyond business hours and on the weekend as needed.
Final Weekly Reflection
You are welcome to use this as a prompt for your final WordPress post but at least please bring ideas for an in class activity.
It is the year 2055. You are still teaching, of course. What is it like going to the classroom, how are you engaging learners, what are the big issues?
Bring a vision of the future to next week’s class in the form of an image, text, poetry, comic, etc. Here are some photos from previous future thinkers to inspire your vision. These images were created for the 1900 World exhibition in Paris to imagine the future and I have selected those linked to education. You may also wish to read this short story, ‘The Fun They Had’, by Isaac Asimov written back in 1951.
Finally
The Course Experience Survey is available for this and all of your courses this term. I know it is an extra ask, but your feedback is appreciated.
