Hi everyone -I am excited to be the instructor for EDCI 572 this term. I am a second-generation Canadian, born in Treaty 6 territory and raised as a settler on unceded Algonquin, Anishinabek territory. Now, I am privileged to work, play and raise my daughter on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies.  My background is in educational psychology and educational technology and my research focuses on learning in technology-enhanced environments, with a particular focus on self- and social regulation of learning.

Outside of work, I love spending time outside hiking with my partner, daughter and my dog. I’m looking forward to getting to know you over the course. If you ever have questions or would just like to connect, my door is always open to you. Looking forward to a fantastic term.
