One of the key assignments for this course is engaging in critical inquiry discussion with your group.

There is no group discussion for Module 1, but, I will be hosting a week-long discussion in Mattermost from September 19th to the 25th. This discussion is intended to model the format and approach to Critical Inquiry Discussions. The questions will be on key concepts from Module 0 and Module 1. This will be a great opportunities to chat with your peers in the class and dive into some of the course topics in more depth.

If you choose to participate in this discussion, it is expected that you will engage in discussion throughout the week. You don’t need to respond to every question, but you should be participating and responding to peers.

In your learning portfolio, you will write a brief reflection on the discussion, including any interesting points or thoughts that it generated foryou. You should also reflect on the nature of online discussions and how they differ from in-person communication.

Make sure to also include a short self-reflection on why you chose this activity, how it aligned with your learning goals, and what you learned by reflecting on different teaching/learning experiences and how they motivate you.
