Individually, you are to create a substantive contributions of about 250 words.
Share an open educational resource that you find impactful and comment on the educational merit and accessibility. Reference theories from class in your commentary.
Be sure it is an open education resource: is “it in in the public domain or licensed in a manner that provides everyone with free and perpetual permission to engage in the 5R activities (retain, reuse, revise, remix, redistribute)” Creative Commons (2025)?
Models of Active Learning
Now that we are exploring a more flexible medium, you will have a lot of choice in the activities that a user may experience. Review the Models of Active Learning to support your design decisions.
Midcourse Feedback
I’d like to invite you to share some anonymous midcourse feedback to help me understand what’s working well for you in this class and what could be improved for the rest of the term. Your honest input will help shape how we move forward together. If you could please complete it by Friday, it should take ~10 mins. Participate in the form here.
Challenge C: OER
Welcome to your final challenge! This challenge will explore open educational resources, or OERs. They are free and open resources that allow for support learning. This week, get acquainted to exactly what an OER is and the due dates and begin work how you see fit with your group. Just a quick note that yes, a storyboard is still very useful in web design! View the full Challenge C: OERs here.
