tl;dr

I can’t believe that it’s almost over! Great work this term and I’ve enjoyed getting to know you through your work. I know how hard it’s been with a lot of theory, reading, writing, and making (in ways that might be new). On top of that, you’ve been navigating new technologies. Your final assignment gives you the opportunity to look back on this term, your personal objectives, and how far you’ve come.

Your OER and Learning Reflection feedback will be delayed longer than usual. I personally have a couple of large assignments due with the end of term that I need to prioritize. I believe it’s okay to delay your feedback at this time as it won’t negatively affect your learning experience since almost all of your course work is done (that matters because feedback you receive doesn’t inform any new work within this course; also, I expect end of term and exam season is also very stressful on your end, so it’s tough to have the time and engage with feedback). You can still expect detailed feedback from me via Mattermost, check-in a couple of weeks. Also, if you are curious about your mark so far in the class, feel free to DM me and ask.

Please take 10 minutes to complete the Student Experience of Learning – try and think back to the course as whole and in consideration of workload, remember there is no final exam. This feedback is greatly appreciated for the continued development of the class as well as my role as an instructor. Your voice truly matters and completing the Student Experience of Learning should be seen as part of university citizenship and participation.

Learning Reflection Report

Due Weds, Apr 1

The Learning Reflection Report is a critical review of your learning experience. You are to explore the what, the why, and the how you have learned by looking back on the course objectives and your personal journey. Take the time to highlight moments of significant growth, challenge, and change with evidence from your personal contributions (substantive posts, discussion comments, challenge process and artifacts, peer review). The goal is to articulate not just what you learned, but how your perspective has shifted over the course of the semester. (~750 words).

Hope you have a great week! All the best,
Adrian

As always, you can reach my by email, Mattermost, or by booking a meeting.
