tl;dr

The next multimedia challenge prototype and peer review is due this week! This time around you are more experienced educational designers, applying your theoretical knowledge and practice to a new educational artifact. Also, by working in groups, you have more perspectives to draw upon; while group work can be challenging, truly collaborating and working through the difficulties results in a better product – don’t shy away from healthy, productive conflict. Please pay close attention to the peer feedback due date so that your peers get timely feedback.

Multimedia Challenge: OERs

Your goal is to create an open educational resource (a website or web-based educational module) that allows a reader to learn about some idea or concept. You will utilize a design process, track your progress, and engage in peer review. Please review the assignment page for important details including the project template, design documentation, examples, marking rubric, and AI guidelines.

Peer Feedback process: The peer review process is identical to the Multimedia Challenge: Comics. That is to provide ~500 words each, with emphasis on the class theories. The Multimedia Challenge: OERs page has further details. Only one of your two peer feedbacks (chosen randomly) will be reviewed for marking and feedback (since detailed feedback is less applicable to the future success within this course and to lessen the marking workload).
