“Starting strong is good. Finishing strong is epic.” – Robin Sharma

I can’t believe it is already the end of the semester, I feel like that 14 weeks flew by.

I really enjoyed cooking these meals, and I enjoyed eating them even more! If you are looking for inspiration for cooking, here are a few influencers I follow on instagram who’s recipes never disappoint.

Reflecting on this experience

Here we are at the end of the semester and finishing up our Tech course. As I sit here I realize how many valuable tools and resources I learned how to use in this class and during this process. Not only have I expanded my cooking skills and recipe book but I also have learned so much about filming, editing videos and creating infographics. These are skills I will continue to use throughout my schooling and teaching career, in fact I have already put my new video editing skills to work in other classes.

Though I feel I may have bit off more than I could chew by choosing the topic of “Cooking around the world”, I am glad that I pushed myself to learn some new recipes. I am the main cook in my home, and I found I was making the same meals over and over again and had lost my passion for cooking. This experience helped reignite my passion in the kitchen and I hope to continue trying new recipes.

Lastly, these blog posts. This was my first time creating my own blog. I felt very nervous going into it, and I felt I was overthinking what I would say each week. What I have learned is that this is just a space for me to share my work and my thoughts and feelings. If I were to go back in time I would tell the Brandi at the beginning of the semester to stress less and just write about her experience of the process of cooking her chosen meal . Overall I really enjoyed this experience and I am happy to have had this opportunity.

That’s all for now
