Hi, I’m Colin Madland, a PhD candidate in Educational Technology at UVic. I’m studying and writing a 3-paper dissertation on technology-integrated assessment in higher education. As of May 2026, I am at the tail end of collecting data for my third paper and am looking forward to diving into analysis! I have taught and worked in K12 in public and private schools in BC, Alberta, and Japan, and I have worked in higher education since 2010, typically supporting students and faculty teaching and learning with technology, but also teaching courses at UVic and elsewhere.
