As part of our #edci336 class, we’ll be hosting an open, online edcamp.

Date: Wednesday, March 31
Time: 1:00-2:00pm (Pacific Standard Time)
Location: a Zoom video conferencing room (link to be provided on registration)

Step 1: Event Registration (Free):

EDCI 336 learners do NOT need to register.

Open learners can complete this free online registration form.
Registration is required for open learners to be able to: 1) vote for their top 3 topic picks and 2) access the video link to participate.
All open participants will be screened to determine verifiable identification. We will do our best to respond to all expressions of interest.

Step 2: Topic Voting:

You need to be registered (see step 1) to get access the “Participate!” page on this site where you can access the link to vote and the link to access the video room.

Step 3: Schedule Set and Video Link Distributed

  • Update your Zoom app in order to be able to move independently between breakout edcamp rooms in Zoom. Otherwise, you won’t see the rooms and will have to wait for a moderator to manually move you.
  • Go to the Topics page to view the topics selected for the edcamp and corresponding Google docs for notes for each. These will be updated on the day of the edcamp, shortly after topic voting closes at 10am PST.
  • Go to the Participate HERE! section of the website using the password provided to you after registering (see Step 1) to access the video room link. Test your audio and video in advance. Try to keep your mic muted when you are not speaking to minimize background noise.
