That said, while a flipped learning pedagogy, or a blended learning method, can be great tools to use in some circumstances, they are not panaceas and are not the best teaching tools in all situations and at all grade levels. Do they have experience with the topic you chose, or something closely related?<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li><strong>What is the \u201cBig Idea\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;that will capture their imagination or inspire them to fully engage with the workshop instruction and activities?<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Create SMART Learning Objectives &#8211; Begin with the end in mind. Learning objectives should each be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-based (Chatterjee &amp; Corral, 2017).<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li><strong>Specific<\/strong>: Exactly what is to be learned &#8211; who, what, where, why?<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li><strong>Measurable<\/strong>: How will it be determined that the specific learning outcome has been met?<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li><strong>Attainable<\/strong>: Ideally challenging learning objectives within the ability of participants to achieve. Your lesson plan should include the following:<\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a sentence or two, create an overarching goal for your lesson.
