and &#8220;Collaborator&#8221; competencies by leveraging technology to share resources and improve practice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Task<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Author daily blog posts throughout the course term.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summarize the specific technologies, pedagogies, or topics addressed in each session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct a critical reflection analyzing benefits, drawbacks, age appropriateness, privacy, security, equity, and accessibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrate the thoughts of peers or solicit feedback from prospective readers within the post.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute a multimedia strategy by combining text with at least one other format, such as a screencast, podcast, video, sketchnote, or infographic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply social writing strategies, including hyperlinks to consulted resources and other blog posts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Criteria for Success<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each of the assigned posts is valued at 6% of the final grade, totaling 66%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Success is defined by meeting all five criteria of the single-point rubric:\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Concise Summary:<\/strong> Clear overview of the technological or pedagogical topic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Critical Reflection:<\/strong> Demonstration of deep analysis across multiple lenses (e.g., privacy, equity).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Integration:<\/strong> Evidence of engaging with the wider learning community or seeking feedback.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multimedia Enrichment:<\/strong> Use of non-text media to increase engagement and clarity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Social Writing:<\/strong> Effective use of hyperlinks and trackbacks to contextualize the work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Allowed Uses of Generative AI<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You <strong>ARE ALLOWED<\/strong> to use Generative AI tools for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Idea Generation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blog post structuring <br><br>(see the course <a href=\"https:\/\/edtechuvic.ca\/ied336\/generative-ai-policy\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"4022\">Generative AI<\/a> policy for more details)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Worth 66% of your grade (6% for each of the 11 required blog posts) Your blog and other social media will play an important role in the learning for this course and will act as a communication tool between you&#8230;
