{"id":215,"date":"2019-09-20T15:43:02","date_gmt":"2019-09-20T15:43:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edtechuvic.ca\/ied336\/?page_id=215"},"modified":"2026-04-28T06:49:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T14:49:38","slug":"assignment-2-lesson-plan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/edtechuvic.ca\/ied336\/assignment-2-lesson-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Assignment 2: Lesson Plan &amp; Materials Creation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Worth 17%<\/strong> of your grade<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learners apply the &#8220;Designer&#8221; competency to create authentic, learner-driven activities for language revitalization, or other subject area for non-language revitalization learners, that accommodate learner variability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"p-rc_1f81a9773ec15710-47\"><strong>Task<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop a structured lesson plan (due <strong>May 21<\/strong>) and corresponding lesson activities\/materials (due <strong>May 26<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The lesson must incorporate at least one educational technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>End Goal<\/strong>: In a sentence or two, create an overarching goal for your lesson. In other words, what should the learner be able to do by the end of the lesson?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Learning Objectives<\/strong>: Create two or more SMART learning objectives for your lesson plan.
