Our Module 4 Twitter chat was a great conversation, but went by way too quickly. So for Module 5, there will be another opportunity to engage in discussion on Twitter. This time, the chat will focus on the future of education. Questions will focus on the dystopian and the hopeful. There will also be opportunities to tell microstories (Find out more about Micro and Flash fiction here). The Twitter Chat will be hosted on Sunday, November 27th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. I’ve expanded the time slightly to allow for more conversation and time to think about your story. (If you are interested in this option, but not able to attend this time, please send me a note. We can certainly look at other times!)

To participate in the chat, you will need to first create a Twitter account.

On Sunday, November 27th, I will start posting at 6:45. The first question will be posted at 7:00. Search Twitter for the hashtag #edci339. All chat tweets will be tagged with this tag.

I will post 5-6 questions over the hour. You should respond to the questions and look at/respond to the responses from other students.

Your contribution to your Learning Portfolio should include any interesting questions or responses that you had during the chat (or reflections on your peers’ contributions!). You should also reflect on the process and experience of being involved in a Twitter chat. Make sure to also include a short self-reflection on why you chose this activity, how it aligned with your learning goals, and what you learned through the chat.
