About
Welcome to the course homepage for EDCI 338 at the University of Victoria!
EDCI 338 is a course designed to introduce learners to social media and personalized learning. It is offered as an elective in the Faculty of Education’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the Educational Technology area.
This online course can be completed without attending a face-to-face class session on campus. However, we will meet synchronously online on a weekly basis to have conversations about the course, offer support, and build social relationships. Also, since this course site is open on the web (with a few things behind passwords for privacy), anyone may follow along and participate as much as they desire.
This course site sometimes hosts multiple sections of EDCI 338, so be sure you follow the correct section and schedule. For Fall 2024, beginning September 4, 2024, Maryam Shirdel Pour will be teaching section A01. You can find the specific schedule for your section under the ‘Sections’ menu at the top of each page.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your instructor.
