This is where the broad ideas are narrowed down into the final polished product. A design process can start from anywhere with the ability to change and tweak the ideas at all points as nothing is final and concrete in the design phase. One of the most important phases of the design phase is feedback from peers and personal reflection. From these you are able to see different perspectives from your own. This gets rid of bias reduction, gives a fresh perspective and gives good room for improvement as the first drafts will never be perfect. During my comic I took the time to create a draft and an idea of what I wanted it to look like including the message I wanted to get across to the reader. The steps I took were 1. Design 2. Reflect 3. Refine. Repeat. I feel as if I could’ve spent more time in the original design part of the project where I feel I should have gone into more detail before I went into the reflection and design, especially when I was designing the narration of the comic. For challenge B I am planning to spend more time designing and getting my ideas narrowed down so I’m able to reflect what I want to teach all within one minute. I also know we get peer feedback from our classmates but this time I want to use more resources around me like my family and friends to gain more constructive criticism to improve my work.

Sharing and helping discussion 1
by zikora on 2025-10-02 at 10:14 pm
Short form media learning has taken the world by storm.
