During the Pro D-Day I attended two online sessions discussing AI and Education \u201cNFB K-12: More than Just Great Canadian Films!\u201d, and \u201cThe Digital Classroom for K-12 Teacher-Librarians & Leads\u201d. I really enjoyed the first session and found it to be the most useful. The NFB is the National Film Board of Canada. It has so many resources for education, I was blown away. These lessons even have activities. Heres one resource I found on the website for science, https:\/\/oceanschool.nfb.ca\/collection\/the-biological-carbon-pump-collection<\/a>. This lesson is a part of NFB\u2019s Ocean School that\u2019s goal is to create Ocean literate citizens. https:\/\/oceanschool.nfb.ca<\/a>. It has so many great lessons and you can sort by grade, subject, and time. <\/p>\n

The indigenous studies section has a bunch of awesome lessons. I found the seminar itself to be super interesting and engaging, the presenter was prepared and the technology worked well. The presenter also did a really good job at walking us through the website and its capabilities. The second session I attended was also cool but I didn\u2019t find it anywhere near as impactful or useful. The presenter also wasn\u2019t sharing their screen so nobody could see what she was doing, this made it kinda hard to follow along.
