Hello, and welcome to EDCI 336. I am looking forward to our time together this fall and I hope you will come out of this course with tools and concepts that will support your learning both professionally and personally.<\/p>\n
As an EdTech program graduate, I am interested in using technology to increase connections within the classroom community and as a collaborative tool for educators and students. I am also a practicing educator with School District 61 (Greater Victoria). Currently, I am teaching Grade 7\/8 and have spent the past 9 years teaching in both middle and elementary schools in SD61.<\/p>\n
My current interests involve assessment practices, accessibility, and mental health literacy for educators and students. I am also learning how to garden through trial and error, and loving (most of) this process.<\/p>\n
