The following are some tasks we need you to complete as soon as possible, so you can come to our next session with everything completed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read the syllabus that was emailed to you<\/li>\n<li>Complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/ca.research.net\/r\/diglit-pre-assess\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pre-term self-assessment<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Review the course website<\/li>\n<li>Review the <a href=\"https:\/\/edtechuvic.ca\/edci136\/privacy-and-safety\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Privacy Tutorial<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Review <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iste.org\/standards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ISTE Standards<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Watch <a href=\"http:\/\/webapp.library.uvic.ca\/videos\/view.php?vfn=Most-Likely-To-Succeed-(2015).mp4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Most Likely to Succeed<\/a> (MLTS) Film<\/li>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/edtechuvic.ca\/edci136\/a01-social-spaces\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Social Spaces page for A01<\/a>\u00a0(password sent via email with the course outline) to complete the following based on your privacy preferences:\n<ul>\n<li>Sign-Up for Pairs\/Pods (once you join the Mattermost EDCI 336 Commons and )<\/li>\n<li>Join Mattermost EDCI 336 Commons, Tech Help, and Cafe Public Channels. We will invite you to the private Channel for our section for chat.
