Lucas<\/span> Wright\u00a0a seasoned educational consultant and researcher specializing in learning technology, faculty development, and AI in education. With over 15 years at the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) at the University of British Columbia, he has led over 40 workshops on AI, engaging more than 1,000 faculty members. He co-leads the UBC AI Training Committee, developing AI competencies for students, faculty, and staff, and co-developed the Generative AI Student Readiness Assessment chatbot in collaboration with UBC and the University of Sydney.<\/div>\n
Lucas<\/span> has designed and developed three MOOCs with a global reach of over 6,000 students and has spearheaded ePortfolio initiatives at UBC. He is an expert in blended learning, instructional design, and faculty training, having facilitated numerous workshops on digital learning tools. His expertise in AI has led to keynote invitations worldwide, and he is actively exploring how AI can transform teaching, learning, and professional development.<\/div>\n
